Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tourmaline Dorkface is a gentle, intelligent dragon. She can never bring herself to purposefully hurt another, even if they are the most annoying dragon on the planet. It just doesn't seem right to her. She spends her free time wandering through the woods next to her cave, thinking to herself and watching the animals around her. She tends not to make strong friendships but instead have links with a few other dragons in her clan.

Opalescent Lexi hangs around Tourmaline more than the latter would prefer, and she's annoyed by Lexi's constant complaining about so-called "lesser dragons", but Tourmaline accepts her, just telling herself that there must be a good reason why Lexi acts annoying.
