Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aradia is quiet and typically unassuming. She is usually friendly, but also somewhat distant after enduring a traumatic accident that left her wings crippled and useless. She is highly respected by the other dragons for her ability to overcome such adversity and for her calm demeanor; she rarely loses her temper. She usually only hunts small animals and insects due to her small size and useless wings, but her incredible ground speed rivals that of other Whiptail dragons. She must be looked after carefully, as she is rather fragile. The fact that she was able to survive an incident that nearly killed her, however, just goes to show her will to live and her incredible adaptability. Her friend, Equius Zahhak the Archer, often carries her on his back to let her feel the rush of being hundreds of feet off the ground.
