White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Swift was named after a horrifying book called A Swift Pure Cry. While Dusk may have matronly qualities, Swift's experiences and the added wisdom that comes with those things have made her the natural leader of the DOTS (Dragons On This Scroll). She is very quiet, preferring to keep to herself, but has strong convictions on certain things. She loves hatchlings and shows her tender side to them most often. She has a stillness which one might call a "Quaker stillness". She loves everything bright and glittery and occasionally suffers from the OLISS syndrome.
