Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zashyra is a dragoness with a lot of spice. She's a spirited girl who isn't afraid to tell it how it is or back-tail slap another dragon for unnecessary drama. She's one of the most well-liked dragons at Cheimon Castle, and one of the loudest. Being the first dragon to live in the sprawling stone palace, she's the oldest (but don't call her old unless you want a good zap!)

  Zashyra loves to welcome the new hatchlings Aero finds on her travels to the world, and help them get on their way, acting like a loving aunt. She is regularly seen either playing with the hatchlings, socializing with her dragoness friends, or accompanying Aero traveling.
