Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Ah, the Daydream Dragon, the dragon known for dropping down daydreams to beings below. This particular Daydream Dragon isn't anything special. She lazes atop the clouds and watches the woodland dragons from on high. Bella Frost Muffins is easygoing and loves to cuddle. She especially loves to drop pleasant daydreams to overworked farmers and dragons. The hatchlings, especially the pygmies, love to soar from very low distances—as in only a few feet at a time so the babies won't get hurt—on her bright blue back and gaze at the peasants and farmers in the village. There was one incident, however, when a certain Misfit Pygmy tried to jump off this dragon's back to snag a cherry from a shopkeeper's basket. Thankfully, Bella's wings are swift from flying in the clouds, and caught the hatchling just in time. Bella is very cautious when flying so she doesn't crash into any adolescent hatchling learning to fly.
