This breed of dragon results from eggs or hatchlings that have been neglected. They are usually rebellious, not obeying their masters, sometimes even attacking them. However, their neglect as a hatchling leaves them crippled, and they are weak compared to other breeds, causing them to stay with their masters for protection.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Permanently Damaged was given to the owner as a hatchling by a friend. She is a dragon who is indifferent to most things; however, when the owner's friend's name comes up, hate burns in Permanently Damaged's eyes. Because it was not the owner who made her this way, she doesn't dislike her and they get along rather well. In fact, she often visits Permanently Damaged to aid her with her survival needs. When the owner isn't by her side, Bronze Sympathizer is. Dragons often talk about how their personalities and looks differ greatly from one another, but he doesn't really care. Though Bronze Sympathizer is very vain, he can always find time for her. He often tries to tell Permanently Damaged that she is beautiful in her own way, but she will not have it. Bronze Sympathizer knows she is more self-conscious than she tries to appear. The owner thinks they should court, but Permanently Damaged would never agree to it, as she knows he wants children.
