Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

D-eliriu-M (or just Delirium), is an odd specimen of an Albino dragon.

Lacking overall color, diversity, and purpose, he will try to mimic the behaviors or actions of other dragons in a desperate attempt to be someone or something.

He constantly pushes his son Isaac around, wanting him to find who he really is, getting the hatching to attempt feats not suited for his species, and somewhat traumatizing the poor guy from pushing him to his limits.

In all truth, Delirium is just trying to give him and his son a reason to exist, resulting in him partially neglecting his child's welfare. He truly cares for Isaac, but due to his mind being in such a jumble of thoughts and confusion, he ends up misleading himself.

Because of his unstable behavior (and for Isaac's own good), his mate took Isaac away from Delirium to live alone in the old, rundown cathedral that they all once resided in.

Still, Delirium forever mirrors the behaviors of other dragons, to find his purpose...
