Turpentine Dragons are named for the oil that covers their scales. This oil resembles turpentine in odor and is mildly toxic; it will not kill but it burns to the touch and will cause illness in anyone who ingests it. Turpentine Dragons roam in large packs, often stealing food from larger dragons, though they are able to hunt for themselves if necessary. Many other breeds consider Turpentine Dragons to be pests, so they primarily breed among themselves.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Hymn of Sand and Zephyr, one of the Twelve Dreamers, is a rather cowardly dragon, even though he's highly respected. He'll speak in a hesitant tone and stutter a lot, shy away from fights and try not to sing in front of large crowds, all those things that characterize a stereotypical shy person.

But when he does get the courage, he'll stand up to anybody and everything, no matter how stupid it seems.

He dreams of a breezy land, a desert with windmills and ruins emerging from seemingly random places in the sand. Puzzles operated by claws and light winds abound.

And his song reflects all of that—mysterious, breezy, almost carefree, except for the hesitance in all of it. He can't help his personality from bleeding into the otherwise inspirational song.

It's almost... ironic, in a sense, that such a hesitant dragon received such an open land to dream about.
