Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kira is known as the hippie dragon. Her extremely peaceful nature earns her the title that she proudly wears. Black dragons don't really like Kira because they believe in the spirit of a battle and the pride of a hunt. Sometimes, Kira spends time with the hatchings and teaches them to love the earth and their neighbors. In a fight, she would be the one to break it up. If any dragon would try and provoke anger from the happy wyvern, they would fail. On sunny days, Kira likes to flash her golden scales to tease other dragons, hoping that she is as beautiful as the rising sun. Kira's ideal dream partner is a friendly, caring yet strong dragon with a love for poetry like herself.
