When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aquarissa is a water dragon. Sandrilyona picked up her egg, thinking it was some kind of weird pebble. It is quite hard for Aquarissa to serve the Clan as she can't leave water. But she found a way to follow her Mistress—with the help of underground streams and lakes. Sometimes she is seen in seas and oceans of different worlds, where Sandrilyona travels. Sandrilyona's magic helps her to move around. After all—Aquarissa is the only water dragon in the clan. She is quite cold and enjoys loneliness. She once had a short affair with the white dragon Mithrillius, which ended almost constantly and resulted in some nameless child she left on some seashore. She decided for herself that her only and true love was The Sea.
