Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

MagictheGathering often assists his owner Nannu on biome boundary runs. In this, MTG helps Nannu by lending her his magic to reinforce the boundaries of the biome in order to keep Nannu's dragons in, and wild dragons out. Nannu's biome is a very large area of land, big enough for there to be deserts, jungles, forests, volcanoes, alps, plains, and vast stretches of coast all to hold many different types of dragons. Being able to fly Nannu to the key rune stones which create this boundary helps greatly. It also helps when MTG uses his magic to hold an aggressive dragon down while Nannu renews the spell that keeps them within the biome. Being that some dragons are to aggressive for her to feel comfortable to let them leave or not tame enough for her to trust that they will come back.

Because MTG is so necessary for Nannu's work the two have grown very close, he will often place small enchantments on her house to keep it warm in winter or cool in summer just for her comfort as a thanks.
