Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A playful and spirited young Yulebuck, Festuvma spends much time going on adventures with his more solemn distant cousin, Angel--or, well, attempting to do so at least! Getting his stubborn kinsman to move is easier said than done, and often involves poking, prodding, and getting himself deliberately into crazy situations in order to succor his relation's help. While Angel often complains about the whole affair after (all while being drowned out by Festuvma's whoops of success), there's no denying that even he enjoyed himself along the way. While the two cousins are extremely close both for these and countless other reasons, Festuvma can't help but sometimes sigh with longing at the other's fortune, for Angel managed to secure himself a most fantastic and rowdy mate. He doesn't let himself get too down about his single status, though; after all, maybe his own lady love is awaiting him on the next of their crazy quests, just around the corner!
