Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Barbara Mountain may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, but she has an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Barbara's feelings are often misunderstood. But when she does find like-minded people or dragons to spend her time with, the harmony Barbara feels is a fountain of joy and inspiration. When deciding how to move forward, Barbara will look to honor, beauty, morality and virtue. Barbara guides herself with her strong moral code, and not by rewards or punishments. Barbara is one of the healers of the mountain fortress in her clan, a fortress that is a sanctuary for all her clan members that live in the mountainous clan territory. Barbara is there to heal and take care of the clan members when they are sick or wounded in the fortress, a duty she takes great pride in and is passionate about. She taught herself healing magic by learning it from the white dragons in her clan. The training was grueling but she persevered.
