Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Biyasa seems to like dragons who are nocturnal and or have some sort of association with the moon, which is probably why her mates so far have been Lunar Herald Dragons. Either that or it's just a coincidence. Or perhaps she loves things associated with the moon because of her own breed. Whatever the case may be, some dragons say that they wouldn't be surprised if her next mate will also be a Lunar Herald Dragon.

Biyasa brings plants to her mother, Saqrin, while her father, Jinaar, is guarded as he sleeps. Biyasa loves seeing the two together, even when she knows that Jinaar has other females who commit to protect him. Sometimes she wishes her mother was the only one for her father, but given how she herself hasn't found a dragon to commit her life to, Biyasa never confronts her parents about the situation and instead just lets them be happy as they are.
