Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It likes to sleep in the sunshine, but it’s more active at night.

And look! Its wings have grown bigger, and it now has large stingers all over the newly split tips of its tail. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Poor Fevresi is a fever wyvern in more than just name! Constantly coming down with sneezes and snuffles, she almost always seems to be running a very real fever, and spends much of her time sniffling sadly from a comfortable patch in the sun. Her owner's grown quite concerned, and has plans to bring in a white dragon to look over her soon, at which point the truth might be known--through a combination of prolonged solar heating and good acting skills, Fevresi often fakes colds to get extra attention!
