Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rack is a black sheep among the students of Delirium's academy. As a young dragon he has found a spell that allows him to bind the magic life essence of dragons together for a short time and this spell has a rather intoxicating effect on the dragons involved. While at first he only used the spell to get pleasure out of it he soon discovered that he was able to steal the energy of other dragons while under spell. The 'partner' usually doesn't discover this because of the spell induced 'high' and can even get addicted to be under the influence of Rack's magic.

Rack has used this to keep in a constant supply of magic energy without the need to study or work for it.
