Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts winter weather.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Sanctus was found and raised by humans, who had never seen a dragon and thought it was some kind of holy creature, because it was so shiny and arrived during the darkest time of winter. They worshiped it, but sadly they didn't know how to care for a dragon and what to feed it, so it stopped growing and became weaker and weaker. As hard as it was for the little dragon to leave the people who were so nice to it, it knew that it was its only chance to survive. So it left, and wandered into this cave one day; it didn't quite fit in with the other Seasonals, as it had never learned any good dragon manners, but the Ice Dragons were happy to take it in and give it a home.
