Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Queen Madame is the leader of the Blood-Shedders, the gang of Vampire dragons who lurk around the forests surrounding IshtarfromBabylon's property. She and her clan are sworn enemies of the leaders of the group, Fiedimida the Spitfire and Histin the Albino. But the dragon Madame most hates is Sikei Dibis, the Summer in charge of protecting the newly-found eggs, which the Blood-Shedders need to bite in order to gather an army of Vampires strong enough to defeat the Lagmonster and gain full control over the cave. Madame has a high rate of precision in her bites, however she almost never uses her abilities. Instead she lets her General Kulip, her Lieutenants Lidisnil, Threafui and Iet, her Sergeants Quama and Tarai, or her Corporals Wimen, Kisil and Derm to do all the job. She currently has her hopes put on her only child, Queen's Successor, who she is raising to be the one who will put an end to Fiedimida and Histin and unblock the path to world domination.
