Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon has no known official name, but he is known as The Husk to locals. Some are indifferent to this dragon, but to most people--he is an omen. It has been recorded that when a person is about to go missing, which happens several times a year, he will appear atop the tallest building in whatever town the disappearance will take place in. Of course, as with all Nocturne dragons upon being hit by sunlight, he will freeze into a statuesque state as if he is part of the building's exterior.

Some say the shadow that he casts is to be used as a sundial-like timer in order to know when crime will occur.

It is a mystery whether or not The Husk is actually responsible for these crimes or is trying to act as a messenger, leaving it up to speculation in most cases. He has never been seen to be doing anything particularly suspicious or evil, but there are whispers that this specific Nocturne has dark secrets yet to be uncovered.
