Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fae Kaede has a somewhat laid-back, cool, and jovial personality most of the time, often joking with others around her. She is also prone to panicking and daydreaming at times, but when the situation calls for it she's decisive, calm, and collected. Fae is also noted to be haughty and a boastful person in private, while having a more reserved demeanour in public. Where ever Fae goes she leaves a trail of bright red autumn leaves that don't wither away. These leaves are actually scales that fall of from her tail. Her scales look like bright red autumn leaves because she is a seasonal dragon that is born in the autumn taking the appearance of such weather. Her lost scales grow back. She harvest, farms and nurtures the plants and crops on her clan's territory. Fae is noted for her resourcefulness and improvisation skills in the clan as she can harvest crops throughout the year, even through winter when she is focused. She teaches her clan how to harvest and farm land in her spare time.
