Sedentary and indolent, Quonebb Dragons rarely leave the vicinity of their homes, preferring to spend their days reclining among the lush, green vegetation. Despite their lethargy, these gentle herbivores possess an almost insatiable curiosity about the world around them. They use their teleporting abilities to reach out and grab random objects from places near and far. Studying these finds is their favorite pastime, though often their theories of an item’s purpose can range far from its actual function.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

True to his name, Piccolo is a very musically-minded dragon. His flute-like calls are particularly melodic, molded through years of consistent vocal training. Piccolo loves music of all varieties, from jaunty sea shanties to sophisticated orchestral sonnets to catchy jigs to ragtime to even aggressive and loud drumming. He loves it all, though he has a particular love for a capella, probably because he himself is a singer. Both his heads sing in perfect harmony, humming lovely and melodic tunes that often summon throws of onlookers. Piccolo is also particularly friendly to these viewers, often treating them to little dances as well, though his coordination there is a lot less refined. Piccolo is a kind soul and treats everyone around him as nicely as possible. Even toward those he dislikes, he always tries to at least remain polite with them. He's slow to lose his patience and fast to make friends, making him one of the best liked Sandcall siblings.
