White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Raphael Healsong, apart from being adept in the art of healing magic, is a devoted advocate of pacifism; he believes that violence even when carried out in self defence is unjustifiable, and that negotiation is a preferable means to the solving of disputes. All life is to be valued and treated as equal. A strict vegetarian Raphael can be quite vocal in his opinions of other dragons that may enjoy the eating of meat; indeed his comments and sermons can be rather off-putting to other dragons when they are trying to enjoy dining on a nice, thick, mouth-wateringly juicy, tender steak.
