Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fates, as she is nicknamed, is good tempered but the same couldn't be said for the rest of the Pink dragons of the clan, who are usually boisterous around each other. She notices odd things going around like the 'Easter Egg Hunt' which she thinks is a lot of fun, even if "The Elusive Shadow" appears out of nowhere and tells the clan to pipe down or she'll never get enough sleep! Fates is the only one to see her owner muttering about 'real life' or trying to work out problems without much success. Her owner shows herself so very rarely that Fates often goes to see what the matter is, only to find Obscuratio curled up around her, seeming to have dozed off. She sometimes feels jealous but watches with interest, causing her owner to call her 'Inquisitive'. When this happens, she realises that Cochiti is nowhere to be seen, but thinks she can see the same faint aura around her owner as she does with the female Shadow Walker...
