Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Apatitetail is named for a pretty blue gem that looks like hers. She believes in peace and thinks that war is the answer to nothing. She thinks that killing animals for food is barbaric but understands that it is necessary for life. She studies life and how life works with Daytara. She wants a daydream dragon in the clan but knows its hard raising a hatchling none the less daydreams.
