And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This hatchling aspires to become the world's greatest treasure hunter. Unlike human treasure seekers, this hatchling seeks to find all the precious and wonderful curiosities of the world. So far, her findings range from the Golden Lilies Field, a enchantingly gentle waterfall, and a double rainbow that appears every time the sun is at its highest point in the sky. However, while talking with another hatchling called "Young at Heart", Life's Treasure picked up the phrase, "reverence for life" (which, incidentally, Young picked up from a wise man). All of her life's work clicked into place at the sound of that phrase. An epiphany grew bigger and bigger, and she then knew the greatest treasure of all: life.
