Kovos Pygmies cast terror into the hearts of those unfortunate enough to encounter one. As solitary hunters, they avoid contact with most other dragons. Tendrils of nearly-condensed liquid mana swirl about them at all times, bringing a sense of dread—and slow corruption after prolonged contact. They will attack prey even when well-fed, sometimes solely for the entertainment of the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

On the surface, Mal seems like any other rabid Kovos. He floats about, spreading misery and terror wherever he goes, and any who encounter him tell the experience like a ghost story. But, truth be told, Mal is not like other Kovos. Though his appearance would suggest malevolent terror, he doesn't mean to scare or hurt anyone, not unless they engage him first. Having been judged a monster from birth, Mal is simply quick to defend himself and ward off potential threats, of which there are a lot. He does not express the same behavior of killing for fun that other Kovos display, rather he only kills to feed himself and for the reason just explained. The only one to truly understand him is his mate, Barbarian, another terrifying Furor Pygmy who is honestly way more dangerous than he'll ever be. The two are a pair bond matched in Heaven, and they were inseparable before the despicable Scourgekeeper, Master Dungeonsculpter, kidnapped Mal and has held him prisoner for Barbarian to rescue.
