Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Long before the Great War, Songsilver and her first love lived in bliss. She would have given anything to protect him.

But she couldn't. He vanished, lost like so many others in the bloody War. Songsilver tried to survive, then, to do as she was ordered by the tyrant Flameflow. The world was so gray, the gleam gone with her love. She couldn't feel and still she didn't die.

She fled with her youngest hatchling one day, finding the Weyr of Soft Flowers in the southeast and joining them. She tried to make a new life, even a new love. She befriended a scarred Silver, another refugee of the War. He had a mate he loved here, but still Songsilver felt drawn to him.

Recently, she learned why. He is her mate, her love, her first and greatest. He hadn't died but was wounded, scarred, recovering here for years. He hadn't known how to tell her he was alive, not yet.

Well, she knows now. And now there is another hatchling between them, too. She doesn't know what her first and only love will do.
