Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon has supposedly guarded the secret of the Atlantis Gate for centuries. There are as many theories about where (or even what, exactly) the gate is or where it leads as there are dragons who seek it, with little evidence that any are true. In truth, even Lady (as she is generally known) doesn't know exactly what she is guarding. She received her title from the previous guardian, who died before he could actually explain anything, so she's not even sure the Atlantis Gate is a physical location and not, say, some dragon with a particularly odd name. So as to give some impression of knowing what she's doing, Lady has taken to keeping track of all the rumors, the most promising of which get woven into her ongoing story.
