Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

RoseRat is a Pink Dragon hatchling who loves her father, DarkWaterRat. She also loves his many water rat friends. All of them spend a lot of time in a little marsh a bit away from RoseRat's cave. The young rats and RoseRat like to chase one another until they tire out. Then RoseRat will make up a special story to tell to the exhausted rattlings until they fall asleep. RoseRat usually ends up taking a nap as well, after exerting all that physically and mental energy.
