Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Artemoise had and still has a crush on Quanette but Quanette never liked him back. During the mating season Artemoise tries to breed with anyone that is willing so he can produce more pink dragons to help him hunt so he doesn't have to do it by himself. Artimoise also wants a girl. He has 3 sons and 2 of them he doesn't claim. The only son that he claims is Rothaid-Lucia.
