Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Zorro is a stubborn and bossy hatchling. It is hard to say if his tough temper came from his mother side or just because he is a typical Hellhorse Dragon. Though small and thin he is very aggressive and tends to harass and threaten other dragons. He loves to think that one day he will be as strong as his parents. His behavior makes it difficult for anyone to get close to him, however he is extremely attached to his mother. He loves to receive affection from her and tends to follow her everywhere.
