Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Omnic acts like he knows everything. When asked a question, he expands his response beyond any simple answer, pontificating at length to the amazement and often dismay of his audience. Unfortunately, his "facts" cannot be trusted—if he does not know the answer, he will make up something that sounds reasonable. Since he speaks confidently about any topic, no one can tell if he is telling the truth or something made up unless they check his facts through another source. However, he does provide an excellent distraction from unwanted thoughts with his stories.
