Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Teforne, a sunset dragon with a desire to explore, always is bored because she cannot explore anywhere new due to her job. Teforne is part of a group of dragons that help their tribe with relations with other dragon tribes and packs, and her job requires her to be within a certain distance of the group meeting spot at all times. She has explored every inch of the area around the meeting spot, and nothing is exciting now. Teforne has toyed with the idea of quitting her job, but she greatly enjoys her job's perks. She has tried to get the other dragons to move the meeting spot once in a while, but her idea is always shot down.
