White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Peregrine is a wanderer, rarely staying in one place for more than a few days. Many dragon communities have asked her to stay on for longer, as her healing ability is legendary, but few do so more than once. Peregrine collects records of strange and disturbing diseases, disorders, and injuries with as much joy as other dragons amass gold and jewels, and she's not shy about sharing her favorites with anyone who shows even the slightest degree of interest. Even some battle-hardened dragons find her stories too much to listen to, so everyone is generally glad to see her leave.
