Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sunbeam von Dyo is the second child of Chryos Mageia and Fintail. She has always been a jealous, plotting dragon. She is envious of her older sister Chryos Mageia the Second, and her younger brother Magical Seahorse. She hates her sister with a passion knowing she is the one respected and loved by her parents, while Fintail sighed in disappointment when another daughter was born instead of a son. When her brother Magical Seahorse came along, everyone loved him! He would be the one to have many children which would be rare hybrids! Sunbeam meanwhile plots revenge, having multiple plans to get back at her siblings. She has already thrown the egg of her sister in to the abandoned pile, now she will never see her precious Two-Finned-Bluna child. Sunbeam plans to find some way to discard of Magical Seahorse's children when they come, but will wait until the time is right.
