Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Freya is the Germanic goddess of love and marriage, similar to the Greek Goddess of love and beauty called Aphrodite. However, she is also known as the goddess of death. If the goddess takes part in a war, it is said that Freya receives half of the fallen warrior's souls while the rest will be given to Odin.

This dragon is named after that deity because of the death aspect. Freya loves to take part in a war, especially freezing her enemies with her cold breath. It is said that the battlegrounds which she leaves, victoriously, are completely covered in ice, nearly creating another Antarctic.

However, her lust for blood and war is only one part of her personality. She is extremely loyal, self-sacrificing and helpful, although it is difficult to earn her trust. If someone wins a place in her heart, she will prove to be a reliable and strong ally, protecting that person or living creature with all her power and life.
