Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Earth Petit, called E.P. for short, is a typical example of a green dragon: she studies geology and earth magic, dwells in a deep cave that's situated in the mountain nearest to Umino's lake, and has even retained her pebble collection from her hatchling days. Her serious personality ensures a lack of earthquakes or random boulders rolling by due to loss of temper, which may be why all the other dragons were very surprised when E.P. ended up mating with their neighbourhood prankster... for life.
