Blusang Lindwyrms are quite different from most dragons in that they lack hind legs. In this regard, they resemble snakes, and this is evident in their movement; these lindwyrms slither along the ground, using their forelegs to lift them over rougher terrain. Blusangs are a coastal breed, preferring to live along rocky beaches and in seaside caves rather than sandy locations. They are omnivores who graze on seaweed from time to time, although their primary form of sustenance is fish.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Callagre grew up in the care of a pirate woman named Fiora who ran a smuggling operation in a cavern that housed an underground lake. Callagre was too gentle and kind to partake in the raiding and looting of innocent sailors, but she loved Fiora dearly and did all she could to make her "mother" happy.

Callagre was still a young hatchling when Fiora's crew was broken up rather unceremoniously by a pirate named Valoran. She only remembers a lot of fire and smoke before she blacked out. When she woke up, a Water Dragon named Arveldir was tending to her wounds. The only things that remained of Fiora were a small, ornate treasure chest and an enchanted lantern. Callagre would later give this chest to her lifemate, Kzikul. The lantern would become her namesake.

Callagre stayed with Arveldir in the cavern until she was well enough to set out on her own. She devoted herself to leading lost ships to shore by the light of the lantern, feeling that it was the only way to right Fiora's wrongs.
