Witchlight Dragons are silent, secretive beasts that haunt the most remote corners of the wilderness. They beguile their unsuspecting prey into peril by assaulting their perceptions of reality and stoking the fires of paranoia with masterfully-conjured illusions. Unwary travelers have been led astray by the soft, inviting glow of their eyes amidst a sea of encroaching darkness, never to be seen again. Those that survive a Witchlight Dragon’s psychic onslaughts do not escape unchanged: some believe that the apparitions these dragons summon to tempt or torment their victims awaken them to hidden truths about themselves.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Witchlights are usually secretive creatures that stay away from well populated areas, but Roshibem has set himself apart from his brethren by making his hunting ground one of the most important roads in the region. The Keypath is a long trail that connects several important landmarks, towns, crossroads and traveler stops and stretches over 500 miles. Despite being haunted by a deadly dragon, it is still the safest and quickest way to travel. Travelers on the road are advised to wear stylish outfits, be polite to each other, and leave offerings and gifts, as Roshibem seems to target travelers who annoy him or those who have no class. There have even been a few reports of ladies and gentlemen who have been lured off the road but released unharmed following a brief, cordial conversation. Attempts have been made to catch him, but he seems to enjoy evading and eventually killing his hunters. So, make sure you dress well for your walk home tonight, and if you see lights, say "good evening"!
