Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Goddess Tesla created the Godia, an island that is surrounded by a near-impenetrable fog. The only way to traverse the Godian fog and enter the island is to have good intentions for doing so. Dragons, and other creatures, seek out Godia for a refuge from the mainland. Tesla makes sure that she takes care of them and lets them have freedom and safety. She's compassionate and helpful, providing food, water, and play for the residents of her island. Even though this goddess-like entity could take care of the entire island herself, the other residents volunteer on a daily basis to assist her.

Tesla loves creating things, she is able to do this with magic. It is not clear whether she is an actual goddess or not, though the Godians refer to her as such. It is said that there is the possibility of a true higher power is using her as a medium.
