Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Arraka's full name roughly translates to "The Eerie Star". She received her name from the Spear-Splinter orc tribe that lives nearby. Arraka spurned by humanoids whom she once called friends and family has developed a strong hatred towards nearly all humanoids, including the nearby orcs. While she may despise their frail and pathetic forms, Arraka realizes the gains that relations with the orcs can have. The current arrangement is that the orcs must give a portion of the spoils they obtain during raids, and if they wish for Arraka herself to fight for them they must bring even more tribute. However there is tension between the two parties, many of the orcs are resentful that Arraka demands such harsh conditions for little to no effort and Arraka on her part never liked what she refers to as the "Snub-nosed Pigmen". Furthermore both factions are growing more and more edgy as several new dragons and mercenary groups have gathered in their land on the borders of the Mazza Hills.
