Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Moonlight Sun has always been very jealous of Darkening Moon who was the mate of Rising Moon. Moonlight has always had a huge crush on Rising Moon. So when she heard they were mates she went to her cave and cried and didnt eat for a few days. Daily Songs had pity on her and went to her cave to comfort her. Moon's wings and eyes are dull. Daily Songs said Moon could probably be Rising's mate to. When Moon left her cave, Rising Moon was making an announcement; he said that Darkening Moon was going to be his only mate. Everyone was shocked for this was a sign of true love dedicating yourself to a mate forever. After a long night of crying she decided to marry Starful Nights, Rising Moons son. She heard he was just like his father. Until one night Rising Moon and Darkining Moon met her. Rising Moon said he knew she loved him so they could have one child together (they are dragons so they don't have the same marriage system as humans) Moonlight would name him or her, Granted Wish.
