It is no mystery where Howler Drakes got their names. Though not very bright, these emotive creatures employ an impressive vocabulary of loud chortles, shrieks, and songs to communicate with one another, and almost never stop chattering. Howler Drakes inhabit dense jungles, foraging in the fertile soil for mushrooms, tubers, and insects. When threatened, a Howler will flare its wings to display its bright red eye spots, while letting out an ear-splitting scream.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Committed to the concept that hard work pays off, Zenzai Zebai has a predisposition to work too hard, sometimes to the point of exhaustion. At which point his health begins to suffer and he will struggle to accomplish even the simplest of tasks. As a result, he will often benefit from compassionate friends who can tell when someone is working themselves too hard. With the right balance of work and relaxation, however, Zenzai will experience at least a moderate level of success in his life. And while luxury may pass through his claws a little too fluidly at times, he will always retain the means to survive, and the perseverance to never give up. Zenzai prefers to entertain his clan for food and protection even though he is capable of taking care of himself just fine. Zenzai is completely dedicated to inspiring others with his creativity and singing skills, though he does not mind contributing in other ways for his clan occasionally. Zenzai is noted for his contagious laugh.
