Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

'Spirits of Christmas'... Ha! If anyone thought that about Ruagon, they are sorely mistaken. Ruagon has only two cares in the world: his mate, Anubais, and his children. Okay, okay, he can be ill-tempered, but he IS rather sweet and understanding. He can be goofy, too! Ruagon can be charming—which might be why all the females the breeder's seen swoon—when he wants to. THIS might be why he can be called a Wolverine in Dragon Form. Er.. no one really knows what the Wolverine thing is. Anyways, he is a bit... timid. Not to mention he can get rather cranky. His favorite foods consist of mint, strawberries, peppermint, chocolate, and even—only TJ knows why—holly. So... That about sums up Ruagon, the UNjolly Yulebuck!
