As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Despite his species' reputation of being antisocial and secretive, Cheezburger is a boisterous, outgoing drake who never ceases his quest to obtain more cheeseburgers. Often, he will ambush strangers, tackling them to the ground, and demand "All your cheezburgers are belong to me!!" After ignoring their pleas and demands for him to get off them, Cheezburger will search their person, and not finding anything, he will abscond with anything blue, meat-scented, shiny and round, or pickle-flavored. This behavior has led to numerous fights with the neighbors, local hobos, and has resulted in the national guard being called twice. Cheezburger was named for his code, 2nds.
