Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Once upon a time there was a teenage boy named Brian. One day he came across a fair maiden playing dragcave. She was really really hoping that the orange egg she had adopted was a girl. But when the hatchling grew wings it proved to be a boy. The maiden was dismayed, she had thoughts of abandoning it. But Brian came to the little dragon's rescue, calling the maiden horrible names and telling her things about how evil she was and how helpless the hatchling was. So... in the end, the fair maiden kept the dragon as her own, and named it Brian Softheart in honor of the handsome prince that saved its life and taught the maiden a worthwhile lesson: never reject a life because you don't like its gender. Very helpful when you're pregnant.
