Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Athos was a victim of the alt lottery. After hatching, he was found utterly worthless and tossed to the cave with no name. However, after a chance find of this hatchling closed up in this dank, dirty cave, he was immediately transported to a new cave-with other dragons! Suddenly one, then two more victims were rescued as well! They became inseparable, always called "The Three Musketeers" for their loyalty to one another and their desire to rescue and comfort more victims of this tragic lottery. Strangely, these three haven't grown an inch since they've got here, though they should be fully matured, which causes the belief that the alt lottery must affect dragons in more ways than we know of.
