Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very brightly colored and loves fruit.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Flame was found by Mountainflames, who had been looking for herbs to cure Earthnote's cold. He had noticed a beautiful green egg covered with orange swirls that was sitting outside a cave. He picked it up and carried it back to his clan's cave. So Mountainflames came home with an egg instead of herbs. The kindly Guardian Dragon named the hatchling that dropped out of that egg, Flame.

Flame enjoys painting delicate birch canvases with pots of crushed berries for his paint. His thick, vibrant strokes of color gave him the second part of his name, and he became Flamestroke.

Unfortunately, before he matured, Flame grew extremely sick. The clan tried to cure him, but he just got weaker and weaker. They soon realized that a freezing spell would be the only way to cure him. Now Flame is a frozen hatchling, and he will never be sick again, but he will never grow up.
