Pargulus Pygmies can often be found tending to plants and foraging for food. They like to care for other living things, be it plant or animal, and will often leave the food from their foraging trips outside the dens of those who need it or even just those they think could use a treat. These colorful little dragons are especially attentive to anyone who might be struggling to find food themselves, such as the elderly, the sick, or the very young. Pargulus pygmies have a surprisingly large range considering their small size. They have been known to travel far and wide to find food to bring back to their friends.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

Clemi is a hardworking pargulus who works for the zyumorph Hirinauth as an official volunteer, or something like that. He loves his job tending to the plants, especially since there's so many of them and such a wide variety. He can be a bit slow at his job sometimes, since he loves to care for each plant individually before tending to the next one's needs, but he ensures that come harvest season, the crop will be excellent. He knows a lot about plants, both magical and nonmagical, so dragons usually come to Clemi if they have questions. Even his zyumorph employer comes to Clemi for help sometimes. It's truly an honor, in Clemi's mind, that he's a leader in the community. Some of the other parguluses working on the farms joined simply because Clemi did. He doesn't know what it is he does or did so well, but he keeps up the good work. However, lately he's been feeling rather sick, and he thinks that's rubbing off on the plants a little bit. He does his best to tend to them anyway.
