Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It gives off an alluring scent that attracts other dragons.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Slender Heart has no idea that he is a Valentine Dragon. When he was still an egg, his mother was killed by a group of rouge dragons and he was taken in by a female Grave Dragon. From the time he hatched, he knew he was different. He did not enjoy eating ash and coal, he could not start fires, and he was upbeat and happy. He was quickly ostracized by the other hatchlings in the Grave Clan and sought his true identity.

His mother finally revealed his true heritage, and he set out to live with the Heartseekers. Today, he still lives with them, attempting to find his true family. However, deep in his heart, he will always love the Grave Dragon Clan for giving him the gift of life.
